Alfie supports Liverpool

Now that I have found the world of Digital Images, I couldn't resist using Alfie, from Digital Stamp Boutique, for a commissioned card for my Nephew to give to his Big Brother.

Printed Alfie and attempted to colour him in Liverpool Strip using watercolour pencils. Not perfect, but not a bad attempt!

OMG - I have deleted all my photos!

Major panic about a month ago, was trying to tidy some photos into folders on the computer. I some how managed to delete the pictures file, instead of an empty folder. My heart was in my mouth, thought I had lost all my card making photos for the past year, but Hubby to the rescue - they were in the trash, so managed to restore them. (I wasn't concerned about any other photo that I had lost)

I have since backed them up on to a CD, but it has prompted me to be a better blogger. Most people make a New Years resolution, my is starting now.

The blog was set up as a Diary of my makes, so any spare moment I will be adding as much cards from the past year on to the blog, but from January every card made will be added to my Blog....watch this space!

Bumble Bear

A Commisioned card for my Sister-in-Law to give to her Niece on her first Birthday.

I found a pattern for Bumble Bear in Papercraft Inspirations Magazine. His nose was supposed to be felt, but I opted to colour him black, then imbossed with clear imbossing powder to give added shine! Flower made from Glitter card, flower stack from coloured wire. Sentiment printed on computer, decorative border used Fiskars border punch, and added patterned paper and ribbon from stash.

I have made a few more of this bumble bear over the past year, so will be adding more to my blog.
