I made 2 cards one for the Parents, and the 2nd for the Grandparents and of course I used Ellie for them both!

Forever Friends Engagement Celebration


Not been around on the world of blogging for some time, been busy with Christmas Cards. I'm sure Christmas comes quicker every year!

Will post a few cards tonight from 2010, want to get the whole year on asap. In 2012, I think I will try and post as I upload the cards from my camera and will slowly add in 2011 cards when I get a chance.......... well that's the plan!!!

Ruby Anniversary (Parents)


This is my last post tonight, but I promise I will be back soon!

Another commisioned card.
I have attached 2 photos, but really the photo does not give this card justice! The card is nearly A4 size. The embossed hearts behind the big heart is hardly noticeable on the photo, which is a pity.

A commisioned card for a bridesmaid to give to the happy couple - so the card cordinates with the couples colours

Ingredients:

Textured White card for base of card.

Printed from pc "Diamond Anniversary", and "Congratulations and names" on white card. Diamond Shape

Oval Nestie, Scalloped Nestie. Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Ribbon and gems from card stash. Diamond cut out freehand

Another Ruby Anniversary - Floral


I have made a card similar to this before, (I think it was a golden anniversary card) not sure if it's on the blog already but does it really matter - this is my diary of my creations!


Ingredients:
Corners of card was embossed using my fiskars embossing board.
Wording printed on PC, then cut out using heart nestie, and mounted on 2 further hearts (one red and one white). Embelished card with punched flowers, and ruby gems!

Ruby Anniversary (Simple Card)

A long time since I last posted, not doing very well with my new years resolution, I'm still a year behind with adding cards!

Card Ingredients:
White Card, Red Mirror Card, Ribbon, Gem

Printed Wording on PC.
Edged card with my decorative cutter, Attached Ribbon, and Gem. Stuck on to red mirror card and stuck on to card blank.

Looks what's on the girdle.....

mmmmm mmmm mmmmmm Pancakes



It was a wet Sunday Afternoon a few weeks ago, and I didn't fancy making cards, I opted for to heat the girdle and make Pancakes - something that I had not done in years!


Stage one, they are bubbling nicely

Stage 2, wow look at the colour of them - better get back to looking after the pancakes rather than the camera, don't want to ruin them!
Here is the finished batch! If you look closely, even a batch of scones in the background - but they didn't come out as well so no close up photos of them!

Well they look good, how did they taste?

I think I need to practice a bit before I offer them to any one other than Hubby!

Ingredients: Pram made using Circle Nesties, Large circle for base of Pram cuting quarter out, and 2 smaller circles for wheels.
White background edged using decorative blade from paper trimmer, then inked round edge.

Wording printed using Scriptins font printed on pc.

Brads & ribbon to decorate.

6 Bottles cut out of Gold metalic card.



Lettering printed on cream card using PC, and each letter cut out using a nestie.



Sequins & Beads used to look as if beer spilled out of the bottle.

Retirement Card

I was asked to make a Large Retirement Card, I had a few topics I could use, but as the card was nearly A4 in size, I had to use a Digital Image so it could be resized appropriately.




So less waffle, hear is my creation...................................

I love the Scripton Font used for the word Retirement. Downloaded font from Da-Font, this was another freebie!

I couldn't beleive I missed my Friends Husbands 40th, when I realised that his birthday was 2 days before I had to rush to make card. Really when I think about it now, I could have taken my time - as it was late anyway!!!
